Do Good and Get Fit

GoodGym
A group of people are beginning the process of setting up GoodGym in Barnsley.  Can you help make it happen?

GoodGym is a community of runners who, under the guidance of a qualified trainer,  achieve their fitness goals by doing physical work that helps people in your community.

“GoodGym members are given missions such as clearing gardens, changing lightbulbs and doing odd-jobs for older people who struggle to do them alone. You run there, fix the problem, and run back again.”

Help make it happen in Barnsley by registering your interest here: https://www.goodgym.org/proposals/barnsley

Gearing up for Cycle to Work Day on 14th September

Barnsley Cycle HUB is gearing up for the National Cycle to Work Day on the 14th of September by offering a FREE BIKE CHECK to Barnsley residents between 7th and 15th September.

We’re ready for National Cycle to Work Day. Is your bike?

We are all cyclists here at the HUB, we can offer advice on bike set up and cycling based on first hand experience. Treat your bike with our free 18 point bike check*, let our expert mechanics give your bike a check over and ensure it is running safely, we will also highlight any work that may be required to make your bike run even smoother. (* 18 point check does not include additional parts and labour costs).

Cycle to work already?

Why not pop in and register as a secure parking user. There are 30 spaces at the HUB and once registered you access to shower and toilet facilities.
