Bought a bike online? Big box in your house? Want to get your bike assembled by a professional? Then take a look at the HUB ‘Bike in a box’ build service. Peace of mind for £35
Browse online, find the bike for you at the price for you, click of the mouse and swoosh, your new bike will be wheeling its way to you; exciting isn’t it! A couple of days pass then delivery man knocks at the door with a massive box that bear no resemblance to the awesome bike you ordered on line. You sign for your parcel and drag it into your front room or garage. As you pop the staples you can see a tantalizing glimpse of shiny painted tubing and glistening gears. As you lift the bike out of the box it becomes apparent that this is going to be tougher than the 1000 piece Baked Beans jigsaw auntie Ethel bought you last Christmas.
The bike is bound up with cable ties, has a wheel off, a box of rattly bits attached and handlebars disconnected. You need to make sure the bike is set up safely and all the bolts and contact points are tightened correctly and everything is the right way round. If it’s starting to sound like a bit of a nightmare then fear not the HUB mechanics can come to the rescue.
Here at the HUB we offer a bike in a box build service that takes all the stress and guesswork out of putting your new bike together. For £35 one of our Cytech level 2 trained mechanics will lovingly assemble and check all parts of your new bike prior to handing it over, we will even recycle the box for you.
