On Sunday April 30th some of Europe’s top riders will battle it out on stage 3 of the 2017 Tour de Yorkshire. Barnsley features in the final stage 3, and will play a key role in deciding who will pull on the blue winners jersey.
As the route leaves the start in Bradford it will tackle some of Yorkshires testing climbs before reaching the Barnsley border, the peleton (main group of riders) will go through Penistone, Oxspring, Thurgoland and Wortley, before heading off to finish in Sheffield’s Fox Valley.
